A Family Legacy Built from the Ground Up

City Lumber Co. was purchased by Melvin Faircloth in 1969 after it was burned to the ground during a store robbery. He and his family worked diligently to rebuild the lumberyard, and it's been thriving ever since. Today, we're the oldest lumber yard in Abilene and the surrounding areas, passed down through generations of the Faircloth family. City Lumber Co. has become a local landmark due to our history and customer loyalty. For over 55 years, we've been serving folks like you with quality materials and service that goes the extra mile.
