City Lumber Co. is more than a hardware company; it is a store with its personality. I talked to one of the original owner's sons for a couple of minutes, who told me that the establishment had existed for almost seventy years. His father passed away a couple of years ago, and his sons have continued their father's legacy. They are now retiring, and a young entrepreneur bought the store and will expand it to other levels. I got a chance to meet the new owner, a super cool and friendly guy with lots of experience in construction. I am excited to see this local business succeed.

I got all the things I needed and even some free nails as a nice gesture of hospitality. (Also Donuts!! haha)

Always a great experience. Audie and Scotty the owners are kind and servant hearted. My grandfather used to buy lumber here when I was a kid in the early 70's. They still have the little bottled cokes grandpa would occasionally buy me.

Great customer service and personal touch.  They had the historical specialty siding in stock that I needed to match my existing siding, to my surprise and delight.  (Lowes did not even have a way to order it) There is a store area with hardware items in addition to the lumber yard.  I will be coming here as much as I can instead of Lowes.  Thank you!
